The Work From Home Series: Outfits

I’m sure most of you have heard that even if you work from home, you need to change out of your pajamas. Even though we are not really going anywhere, it helps our minds feel like we need to get things done. For my second week of working at home, I challenged myself to change out of sleepwear and get into something somewhat presentable!

For my first two looks, I tried styling sweatpants. Sweatpants are extra comfy for staying at home, and look cute when styled with a denim jacket or a cute tank. I paired these two looks with sneakers for the sake of the pictures. When I’m home, I’m usually just in socks or house slippers. You can’t go wrong with a comfy button up sweater and mom jeans! Top: H&M Jeans: Urban Outfitters Shoes: Sam EdelmanTop: T.J. Max Leggings: Gymshark Shoes: Nike Epic React

My next two outfits involve workout gear. I like wearing workout gear to work from home because they are comfortable, and give me the motivation to get my workout in for the day! img_0661Top: Outdoor Voices Shorts: Balance Athletica Shoes: Adidas Ultraboost (most comfortable shoes ever!!)

Next week, I also plan on getting out of sleepwear (I might even get a little more dressed up than this week). I found that it did help me be more productive (and motivated me to get my workout in for the days I wore gym clothes). I might make a similar post next week.

Best wishes! Hope you all are staying safe.Blog sign off

  1. Cute outfits! I agree about getting out of pyjamas and getting into ‘work clothes’ to get more in the work mindset. Otherwise I don’t feel like doing anything all day. Hanging out in workout clothes has been my go to a lot too. They’re so comfy and it does make it easier to remember to get a workout in if you’re already dressed for it 😊
