A quick stay in San Antonio

For the majority of last week, I attended a work conference in San Antonio, Texas! Being a native Texan, I’ve been to San Antonio quite a few times. However, I had never stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country resort. The conference was in the hotel, so I got to enjoy all of the amenities of the resort at the end of each day of the conference. Although I can’t say I enjoyed the conference, I throughly enjoyed my stay at the resort.

The structure of this hotel is absolutely beautiful! The pale blue accents and cream colored brick create the perfect contrast. I was lucky enough to have a balcony in my room that had a nice view of the front of the resort. I enjoyed getting to step outside and people watch.

One of my favorite things about the resort was the great lawn that offered an amazing view of the golf course! Being able to sit on a hammock and read or have a drink was the perfect way to relax. The resort always seemed to have some sort of activity going on. The day I arrived at the resort they were having a “zoo day” and had all kinds of different animals being showcased. I had to snap a pic of this adorable sloth! My personal favorite amenity of the resort? The man-made lazy river that runs throughout the property. It was easy to just grab a tube, float, and relax. I also loved that they offered an “adults only” pool and a large hot tub.Dress: Express (XS) Necklace: Bp Shoes: Express (old)

I intended on snapping a pic of each of the outfits I wore to the conference but my forgetful self only remembered to get one. It’s just a simple shirt dress and flats, but it was the perfect business casual outfit to be comfortable in.

It’s back to the office for me this week. It was nice to get away, but it’s nice to get back to my regular routine. Have a wonderful week!
