The Striped Shirt

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was spent relaxing as I had a bit of a tough week. I was finally able to finish the book I have been reading (Big Little Lies). If you like mystery novels, I highly recommend! I loved all the characters and the ending had a bit of an unexpected twist. Despite having had a bad week, I am going into this week with high energy and a positive attitude!

You may have seen this striped shirt in my summer haul. Since buying it last month it has become a staple piece in my wardrobe. It looks great with jeans or a skirt for a work look. It paired perfectly with distressed jean shorts and lace-up sandals. It is already getting hot in Texas, so shorts were a must! I added a pair of cobalt blue tassel earring for a pop of color. I love how this look turned out!
